Solar Light...

I know mga mare you are very familiar with solar lights though a bit pricey pero winner the pooh

naman sia pagdating sa pagtipid ng kuryente and aside from that ang ganda nya pang decor sa garden

or kahit sa mga bakod ng haus nyo. I was so intrigue when I first saw this sa haus ng pinsan ko sa Iloilo

ang ganda parang may runway ng airplane ang garden nila pinuno nia ng mga solar light nainggit

naman akei kaya mega ask ako kung san nya binili at syempre kung magkano, medyo swak naman sya

sa tampipi (coin purse) natin mga mudra. Try to visit Ace Hardware and ask sa mga assistants dun kasi

medyo di agad sya makikita sa mga displays nila. Here it is.... sensya na po sa blurred effect =p

Hmmm..may kulang lagyan ko nga signage "WARNING: HIGH VOLTAGE" salbahe hahaha....

Plain Sunday

During Sundays we need to wake up very early because we wanted to attend mass in the morning 

wherein it`s much peaceful and you can feel the cold breeze, after the mass we headed to wet market 

which is one of my favorite routine as a SAHW lalo na pag kasama ko si Moks ang dami kong 

natututunan sa kanya tulad ng  pagpili ng sariwa ultimo pagkilatis kung babae, lalaki o bakla ang isang 

alimasag at pano malalaman kung payat ba un o mataba palibhasa laki sa dagat ang daming nalalaman

which is nakakatuwa naman kasi additional learning sa isang musmos na tulad ko hehehe...Pag 

kagaling sa pamamalengke ayan deretso sa lababo ang pinamili at ako na ang bahala sa pag lilinis.

   

 Mawawala ba naman ang hot pandesal sa almusal na laging ready on the go sa lamesa.....

 Ito naman ang walang kagana-gana naming merienda hahaha...sinipag ata ang kapatid ko at nagluto ng

 hot and spicy tuna spaghetti at sinabayan ko rin ng sipag sa pagluto kaya ayan gumawa ako ng turon

 na ang laman ay tikoy...yes you`re right tikoy ang nilagay ko ang sarap kaya, nalaman ko yan kay

 Mommy Lai ang dati kong officemate naalala ko kasi na every chinese new year nagdadala sya sa

 amin ng turon with tikoy kasi para daw stick kami together at ang ayaw naman nyang makasama di

 nya bibigyan (joke!)

 

  How bout you pano nyo nman na spend ang Sundays nyo chika naman dyan!!! =)

Day Off ni Inday at Moks.....

Sunday Siesta Time........

Moks: tara hon gala tau sa Market..

Me: un lang nman ang malapit dito....eh ano nman gagawin natin dun (pakipot kunwari)

So in short natuloy ang lameryada namin mag jowa...While strolling around nakita ko at nagkakagulo

ang mga tao sa boutique ng Charles & Keith....

Moks: gusto mong pumasok?

Me: nagtanong pa...aba natural.....

Mas lalong nagpalpitate ang puso ko ng makita ko ang mga price ng shoes pinakamahal na siguro ang

800 pesos...Oh Ehmmm Geeee talaga...kaso nman sa dami ko ng nasukat na shoes ang ending wala

akong binili umiral na naman ang pagiging practical ko buti na lang at di ako nagpadalos dalos haha...

naisip ko lang na oo nga at mura pero san ko nman sia susuotin lalo na at SAHW (stay at home wife)

na ako..ano un pag nag laba or nag mop ako ng floor un ang susuotin ko hehe and aside from that di ko

pa nga nasusuot ung ibang shoes ko...at dun nagulat si Moks sakin kung kelan na hinayaan nya daw

ako mamili at okey sa kanya ung mga designs dun nman daw ako di bumili (babae nga naman).

Finally it`s over.....after 2 months in the making we already finished the 1,ooo pieces jigsaw puzzle of this Disney couple...super tight bonding na kami ni Moks sa pagbuo nito buti pa ito 2 months lang nabuo agad (haist sana nman next time baby na ang mabuo namin) .

Mas maganda pala sya pag nalagay na frame, eh kamusta nman ang presyo ng frame na to umabot kami ng 2k sabagay malaki kasi...nakakakonsensya naman kasi pag nagsesermon si Moks sakin na nagpabili daw ako nito tapos di ko pa nagagawa...pero nung natapos nman ayan at di napakali ipina-frame at kinabit agad sa wall....

Next in line another 1,000 pieces again.......kelan ko kaya ito sisimulan

Last Friday si mudra at ang aking makulit na "pamangnak" (short for pamangkin na at inaanak pa) went to Market!Market! para magpa change ng flight sched. going to Iloilo si mudracles...since may lakad din kami ni moks at natapos din agad at dederecho rin sia sa  training nia sumunod na lang ako sa mag-lola...while I'm on my way going to Market!Market! I texted mudra where I could meet them...she texted back "basta dito malapit sa Skechers"... buti na lang na scan agad ng utak ko kung saan un banda...

Aba pagdating ko dun hayahay ang buhay ng mag-lola........parang nag di-diskusyon lang....

In fairness ang galing ng concept ng nakaisip nito pati ang mission and vision nila tagos tlaga sa puso natin... atleast they give importance to the elderly o ung tinatawag namin ng pinsan ko na dual citizen a.k.a. senior citizens hehehe....Thank you so much Artistshop!! di ko na nga lang na piktyuran ang ibang tumba tumba kasi natutulog ang mga lolo at lola...

Purple Oven and Becky`s Kitchen

Hello world....back to chickahan na naman ang daming nangyari sa buhay ko for the past few months andyan ang lungkot, kaba, pagiging malaya at higit sa lahat ang saya syempre yan ang pinakamagandang nangyari sa lahat lahat tska sa mga pinagdaanan ko sa buhay kailangan laging positive lang tayo at sobrang kapit sa faith natin kay Lord....di magiging matibay ang isang tao kung wala ang mga karanasan sa buhay at mga pagsubok na nalagpasan....

Anyways last week nagulat na lang kami sa bahay at may dumating na delivery from Shakey`s yun pala galing sa isa sa mga MedRep na pumupunta sa clinic ng kapatid ko parang pasasalamat siguro sa kanya at na endorse ung gamot na ino-offer nia...This monday naman may dala ang brother ko na Cashew Tart from Purple Oven at galing uli sa isa sa mga Medrep....

At kahapon naman cake from Becky`s Kitchen......I`m so sorry at di ko alam kung anong flavor ng cake na to if ever man na may nakakaalam please tell me ha, ito ung cake na sa sobrang plain ng color ay may bongga palang tinatago na laman.......ang masasabi ko lang ang sarap nya..

  

Kung sino man ang mga MedReps na yun thank you so much for sharing your incentives with us....sa uulitin uli....ganyan na lang daanin nyo na lang sa food kasi last year sila lang ung naka experience ng trip to davao all expense paid unless na isama nyo rin ako hehehe...thanks much!!

Let's do some retouching!

I didn't render overtime last Saturday so what I did to make a productive day I pulled out our kitchen drawers and do some retouching with the help of laminated paper....

Here are the materials I used

Scissors, knife, sand paper and laminated paper

Cabinet drawer



I removed all the the dust and dirt of this drawer, then I used the sand paper for fining the wood. I placed the paper on top of the drawer and make some markings so that when I cut the paper and ready to stick on the cabinet it will be perfectly fit. Be extra careful when peeling off the sheet and placing it on the object you must be sure that there are no crumples or wrinkles when sticking it on the object, it's just like you're installing the screen protector on your cellphone or ipods free from bubbles hahaha...

Tibiao Fish Spa

Have you tried already the Fish Spa??? the first time I tried this was in Star City..for a first timer of course you'll bit afraid and there's also a tendency you're going to shout once these fishes are touching your feet good thing I have the courage to try this without any fear and hesitation (wehh di nga???)  hahaha...but seriously speaking I enjoyed it so much....this time I tried this fish spa inside the SM Iloilo..Tibiao Fish Spa...Tibiao is located within Antique City and according to the male assistant it is also where their fishes came from.

This would take about 30mins. only...since super chickadora ko at wala nman masiadong customer the male assistant told us we can stay there as long as we wanted..sabi ko "naku kuya siguro wala kayong pakain sa isda nyo tapos wala pang customer kaya pinapabusog nyo sila sa paa namin hahahaha.."

While me and my cousin are strolling around in their campus which is CPU Iloilo I noticed this stall inside their school and I asked him to try this product...He asked me kung wala ba ganito sa Manila...so I answered parang di ko sia na encounter sa mga bilihan ng fishball and kwek-kwek or even inside the mall o baka lang di ko talaga nakita sa labo ng mata ko...anyways ano pa nga ba siempre di ko rin pinalagpas ito...

Ingredients:

Shreded buko

Syrup (sugar dilluted in water)

Evaporated Milk



si ate habang nag ble-blender ng buko



and the finished product.....ang ganda ng lagayan di ba sa mineral bottle in fairness malinis ung bottle bago sia ung bottle cap nyan naka sealed pa tapos lalagyan nila ng butas para sa straw ang taray di ba!grabe na mi-miss ko na nga ito ang sarap nya kasi ang dami pang gatas na nilagay ni ate..see the tower?? buko juice yan o di ba walang nasayang sa buko...

Hindi ako masyadong na excite sa pag gala ko sa Iloilo pagkadating pa lang namin ni mudra sa airport iniwan ko lang ung mga bagahe ko sa kanila at dumerecho na agad ako sa SM City to think na nag earthquake sa Iloilo the day before na dumating kami di pa rin natinag ang lola nyo sa pag lakwatsa...anyways kasama ko nman ung cousin ko a.k.a the businessman Raymond naku estudyante pa lang to ngaun pero dinaig pa ako...sabi ko nman sa inyo di ko palalagpasin ang batchoy dito...First stop is Plazuela meron din palang Deco's branch dito actually katabi lang nitong mall na to ung SM...

Well aside from the Molo soup which is also popular for Ilonggo's dishes this La Paz Batchoy is also one of my favorite noodle dish...it consists of pork, pork liver, garlic, onion, shrimp, chicken and the secret recipe of their soup which makes this a distinct one comparing to other noodle dish.  So this is what I ordered the Special Batchoy gustuhin ko man ung Xtra Special nila baka di ko kayang maubos pano kasi sabaw pa lang nyan mabubusog ka na...this costs for only 65.00 pesos

  

Perfect match ang batchoy either sa pandesal or sa puto.....so I chose puto sawa na kasi ko sa pandesal  sa office lang araw araw pandesal ang kinakain namin....

Thank you at patuloy nyo pa rin ako binibigyan ng mahabang buhay sa pag gabay at pag protect nyo sakin at sa mga mahal ko sa buhay sa anumang trahedya sakuna at karamdaman. Sabi nila nagiging emotional daw lalo pag tumatanda na mas lalo akong nagiging emotional sa mga blessings na binibigay nyo sa kin hilingin ko man o hindi alam ko binibigay nyo sakin kung ano ang karapat dapat...sa sobrang dami ng blessing na binibigay nyo sa akin kulang ang kantang " A Million Thanks To You"...

City of Love...Iloilo....for the Nth Time...

It's been a long time I don't update my blog...busy as a bee at work and some side trip lamyerda in Batangas just to maintain the so called Life Work Balance...can't it be more on life life life balance???? This week I'll start the life life life balance hahaha joke... just only 5 days and 4 nights vacation to my parents hometown w/c is Iloilo City!!!..the exciting part of it I'll be experiencing again to smell the fresh air (sometimes the smell of cow's poo-poo  will mixed on it yaiks!), eat fresh vegetables and seafoods, I don't wanna miss to eat La Paz Batchoy either on Deco's or in Ted's Lapaz Batchoy, visit the church of Candelaria, roaming around in downtown wherein the delicacies of Iloilo will be found (barquillos, biscocho, piyaya etc.), visit some relatives, and of course it's fiesta there so I'll make it a point there's always a free space on my large and small intestines hehehe....until now I haven't packed my things maybe tomorrow so I can decide what clothes should I bring (you know girls..if could only be possible to bring their own cabinet they will be happy to do so)...

Weekend Trip.. Part 2

Next Stop is Liliw Laguna which is also knowned for the cheapest price but good in quality when it comes to shoes and sandals... we headed first to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church other people calls it the Red Brick Church, of course we prayed for our safety and guidance and for our some personal prayers.

and the most exciting part for the girls is window shopping (nga lang ba?)..naku pagdating sa bags and shoes di maaaring di ka bumili ni isa man lang....lalo na sa lugar na to..swak na swak sa budget!

Kung nakapunta ka na ng Antipolo church ganun na ganun ang itsura ng Liliw....Church ung nasa pinaka tuktok then pagbaba mo ung buong street kabi-kabilaan puro tindahan na ng mga shoes at sandalas....

at eto ang bubulaga sa mga mata ninyo.....

Naku kung pwede nga lang bawat designs ay bilhin mo na...halos lahat ng stores di nagkakalayo ng mga prices...from P150 - P350 mahal na siguro ang mga 400-500 kasi pwede ka pa rin humingi ng discount...knowing girls (lalo na ako) natataranta na ko pag andyan na lahat sa harapan ko ang ibat-ibang klase ng sandalas at shoes.....moral lesson don't be impulsive buyer siempre ang una mo dapat isipin at bilhin ay kung meron ka na bang ganyang style ng shoes eh color may kapareho na kaya and the most important is magagamit mo ba tlga yan baka nman patulugin mo lang sa box or sa shoe cabinet yan....ang hirap labanan ng kunsensya...haist babae nga naman...naku before i forgot para mas convenient ang pamimili nating mga girls NEVER, DON'T, HUWAG magsama ng boys para walang sagabal pag namimili ng sapatos...hahahaha...buti na lang wala si moks for sure either nakisamangot un o kaya sasabihin nun intayin ko na lang kayo dito...=D
